My Monet Light Experiment

After learning about Claude Monet and his haystack paintings, I thought I would try my own experiment with Impressionist lighting. I too found a boring subject, a small bush in my backyard, and decided to photograph it at different times of the day to see how the light could change the way it looked.

Here are the results that I found when photographing a simple bush in my backyard at the following times (clockwise, from top left): 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:00 pm. You can see how the exact same bush takes on color qualities related to yellow, blueish-green, green, and even orange when seen in varying degrees of light during the day.
