A waterskiing Jesus in Cape May, NJ

You may be familiar with the Bible story about when Jesus walked on water. His disciples were on a boat crossing the Sea of Galilee, when a strong wind and storm came upon them. As they feared for their safety, they saw Jesus walking on the water towards them. After Jesus stepped into the ship, the wind ceased, and they arrived at land.

In this case, I was walking along Beach Avenue in Cape May, NJ, when I saw this sticker art on the back of a traffic sign. It shows “Skisus,” a barefoot waterskiing Jesus who is being pulled behind an unseen speedboat. He’s pretty calm as he skims the water on only one foot, with his hand down for a little extra balance. It gave me a good laugh, and the location was logical, as I was only about 100 yards from the ocean. It’s not clear who the artist was who made this image or sticker art, if you know, share with us in the comments section below so that we can give proper credit.
