Art at the Office: Michelangelo to Cartoon Cave Art

art in the office - michelangelo and cave art

I’ve had a series of blog posts where I enjoy seeing and sharing the type of art people position themselves in front of for news interviews or Zoom meetings. Here’s an addition to the group, with a slight twist: the first image, below left, is indeed a cable tv news interview where the man talking made sure to have his framed print of Michelangelo’s Delphic Sibyl from the Sistine Chapel prominently in the background. But then, once the commercials started up, I was flipping channels and happened upon an episode of the Flintstones, where Fred’s boss at the rock quarry was also showing off some art from his office. I thought these two scenes made for a nice combination – Michelangelo and cartoon cave art! Which one do you like better?

From Michelangelo prints to cartoon cave art – nice art for the office, as seen on tv.

If you were being interviewed on tv, what would you want in the background of your video feed? Share your ideas in the comments section below.
