Two different types of visitor at the art exhibition

Here’s a look at two different types of visitor to an art exhibition: at left, a woman at the Armory Show in New York back in early March, who is wearing some Pop Art, in the form of a Roy Lichtenstein-inspired skirt. At right is … not an actual visitor, but a life-size art work that forced a double-take while taking a quick scan of the crowd at an art opening. The piece is by Federico Uribe, who has an absolutely fantastic exhibition (unfortunately, now closed due to coronavirus) at the Montclair Art Museum in New Jersey. The show is scheduled through January 3rd, 2021, so let’s hope things change in regards to public spaces so that people can get back in to see this exhibition.
