The French approach to exiting a museum

It would seem from looking at these “exit” signs at museums in Paris, that when it’s time to leave the building, they want you to RUN. Below right, at the Louvre, you should move briskly towards the door, as evidenced by the high leg kick of acceleration. Below left is even better: when it’s time to leave the Pompidou, you’d better have a trail of flames behind you because you’re on the fly!
