Sorry, we can’t help ourselves … we studied art history and these things just stick in our brains

We were out walking the other day when we saw a discarded work glove laying on the ground near the front steps to a house. There was something about it that grabbed our attention, so we took a picture … and then later realized the reason why: it reminded us of Giorgio de Chirico’s painting The Song Of Love, painted in 1914.
