While driving from Minnesota to New Jersey last spring, we saw this roadside sign. It’s very valuable advice, to remain buckled up with your seatbelt while driving … but the number of miles caught our attention … the next million miles?
We thought this seemed a little extreme, so we did a little research. To drive from Maine to California would be around 2,700 miles. To drive a million miles, one would have to drive around the full circumference of the earth over 40 times!
